Holly was divorced three times. First, she married actor Danny Quinn. The couple was wed in 1991, and then separated in 1993. Jim Carrey and she first began to meet in 1994 when they were auditioning in the role of Ace Ventura Pet Detective. Although she was not given the job, Jim Carrey and she developed a strong bond during filming for Dumb and Dumber. The couple got married in 1996. Alaina was born the 8th November 1994, in the home of Kristy the late J. J. J. Suddeth from Rossville, Georgia. Alaina began to sing at the age of three years old. She performed her first public appearance in a child's choir, and then at the venue for karaoke for a family vacation. She performed at churches and in eateries, on holiday weekends, and everywhere she could within a 30 mile radius. Alaina aged eight, won at the age of 8 Southern Stars Pageant Talent Competition. That year she was crowned the competition to showcase talent for children at Chattanooga's Riverbend Festival. She continued to perform there until she reached the age of 12 old, when she won a competition which allowed her the opportunity to appear at the stage of the Riverbend festival. In 2010, she went to Orlando, Florida to participate in the American Model and Talent Competition. She managed to defeat more than 1500 children at the competition. Alaina sang as part of Georgia Country Gospel Association's children's group. Aged 12, Alaina made her first of many visits to Nashville. The singer performed in Tootsie's and at other local bars on Broadway. Alaina was the winner in 2009 from Lake Winnepesaukah Amusement Park's WinniSTAR young talent contest. The cousin of Alaina Holly Witherow was diagnosed with brain cancer and inspired her to start singing. Alaina was a CiC's Pizza employee before joining Idol. She went to Lakeview-FortOglethorpe High School in Fort Oglethorpe, Georgia, where she participated in the cheerleading team.
